From 04 to 07 August at the Maltsch (Upper Austria)

At the Austrian League for Nature Conservations camp in Upper Austria, valuable areas in the Maltsch European nature reserve will be maintained: Every helping hand is welcome for mowing, which is still done traditionally with a scythe, and for removing brush from the wet meadows along the small border river. Only in this way can corncrakes and whinchats still find an optimal habitat here. But there is no shortage of fun either: Excursions to scenic highlights in the surrounding area are on the agenda, as is cooking together around the campfire. Info and registration

From 04 to 18 September in the Thayatal (Lower Austria)

If you are interested in nature conservation, prefer to be outdoors, work well in a team and like to meet new people, the Green Belt Working Camp in the Thayatal is the right place for you! The National Parks Thayatal and Podyjí in cooperation with SCI Austria are looking for motivated volunteers who would like to work in nature conservation from 04 to 18 September 2022. Information and registration

From 09 to 14 September in the Central Weinviertel (Lower Austria) and From 14 to 25 September in the north-eastern Weinviertel (Lower Austria)

At the two work camps in the Weinviertel region, organised by the Austrian League for Nature Conservation together with SCI Austria, committed volunteers can help to preserve biodiversity along the border between Lower Austria and the Czech Republic. Steep slopes are mown and dry rocky meadows are cleared of shrubs. In between, there are enough free days to rest and get to know the team as well as the region. Support on a daily basis is also welcome! Info and registration
