The European Green Belt will be celebrated with a variety of interesting events aimed at locals, tourists, students and local stakeholders. Presentations on the European Green Belt network will be organised for students from local schools in Berkovitza and Belogradchik. There will be a public tour to Belogradchik Rocks Natural Monument led by a local guide and experts, who will discuss how to adapt the current protection regime to improve the management of the protected area. The event is open to the public and local institutions. A visit to a local festival in Georgi Delchevo and an expert-led tour of the Koprenski Waterfalls will emphasise the connection between cultural and natural heritage in the region.
