Empowering rural women along the European Green Belt

These are the planned activities for the European Green Belt Day: 

The celebration will bring together at least 10 women from the Prespa and 10 from the Debar communities. Ten women from the Radika DE women's network in Debar will meet rural women from the Rural Women of the Prespa network and exchange experiences on sustainable small businesses and traditional products on 26  and 27 September. Women from both networks will participate directly in the Rural Fair for Prespa apples, selling their products at stands, and will also visit the Spirit of Prespa farm. A group of young artists will accompany the visit to Prespa and support the event with drawings and illustrations. Social media promotion will kick off from 19 September.

This European Green Belt Day celebration is part of an EU-funded BESTbelt project.
