Welcome Dinner & City Tour

We will be organizing a welcome dinner and a city tour to jointly kickoff the BESTbelt Conference 2026!

 

Welcome Dinner

* Please be aware that you can only join the welcome dinner if you registered for it during the official Conference Registration.

Date: 22 June 2026

Time: 19:00 - 20:30

Meeting point: The welcome dinner will take place at the local pizzeria ‘La Tarantella’ (99, Corso Italia - 34170 Gorizia)

 

City Tour 

* Please be aware that you can only join the city tour if you registered for it during the official Conference Registration.

Local guides will share interesting facts about the Gorizia, the European Capital of Culture in 2025, and lead us on a tour of the city and specifically its border region.

Time: 21:00 - 23:00

Meeting point: After the welcome dinner, we will walk to the starting point together. In case you will join in only after the dinner, you can directly join Group A or B at 21:00.

Return to the city center & hotels: A local night bus is available at 22:58 to bring us back to the city center.
